Creative Writing & Teaching

I have an MFA from the Michener Center for Writers, one of the most prestigious
writing programs in the country, and I’ve published nearly twenty short stories in literary
magazines such as American Short Fiction, Alaska Quarterly Review, Boulevard, Prism
International, Nimrod, Blackbird, and the Baltimore Review. I’ve taught creative writing
at UCLA Extension Writer’s Program, University of Texas at Austin, and the Texas
Writer’s League. I’ve also been a story editor for feature films and documentaries,
working with clients such as Anagram Pictures, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
and the National Film Board.
